- Hybrid
- Surabaya, Jawa, Indonesia
- QA
Job description
CrazyGames, a rapidly growing browser games platform with monthly players reaching 50 million, is looking for an additional Technical QA Manager to join our Surabaya team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and technical integrity of both new and existing games, helping us deliver the best possible gaming experiences on the web.
As a Technical QA Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating and identifying top-quality games; finding, reproducing, and helping resolve bugs and SDK/integration issues with developers; and ensuring that submitted games meet our platform’s technical and quality standards. Working closely with your QA colleagues in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you will provide hands-on support to our community of hundreds of game developers across the globe.
You will work hybrid (combining office work in Graha Bukopin and remote work). We are specifically looking for people in Surabaya, Indonesia, where the majority of our QA team is based. A good level of English is mandatory.
===============================
Key outcomes for this role:
Within 1 month, you have a good understanding of our QA process and standards, the criteria to evaluate game quality, and the technicalities of our SDK features. You can already review the first new game submissions independently for the most part, while managing priorities to keep throughput high and avoid unnecessary backlog.
Within 3 months:
You dive deeper into the technical structure of our most popular game engines (Unity and HTML5), and are able to test our SDK integration on them. You also gain hands-on experience debugging issues using Unity Editor and browser DevTools to support developers efficiently.
You provide valuable game development advice to both developers of new games and existing successful games on a range of advanced topics, including mobile compatibility, gameplay improvements, SDK integrations, and technical performance.
Within 6 months:
You are able to handle the entire QA process end-to-end independently.
You can solve and document game-related technical issues in at least one of our most common game engines (Unity and/or HTML5), and gradually expand from there.
Within 12 months, you can fully handle QA and SDK support of the games with minimal to no supervision.
What we offer:
Join a dynamic and ambitious team focused on pushing the boundaries of browser gaming, and work with a lean, high-caliber QA team of 7.
A lot of responsibility and freedom. We hire only experts and trust them to deliver excellent results.
Hybrid setup (3 days in the office + remote days), with some flexibility on remote days.
Team weeks: we organize a week in Europe once or twice per year. We pay for everything so you can have fun with the team.
The opportunity to play games and claim it's work.
